Al Walaja hike and visit 5000 year old olive tree
About This Tour
The Palestinian town of Al Walaja was depopulated in 1948 and the inhabitants became refugees. About 100 people moved up the hill and lived in caves. When the green line was drawn they ended up on the Jordanian side and they re-established their town, overlooking the valley with the water springs and the ruins of their homes. We will hike in the old Al Walaja and then go up to the new Al Walaja for lunch, a tour and a visit to the 5000 year old olive tree. Minimum 6 people or minimum 600 dollar (If group is bigger, we can rent a bus and discuss price)
